Silver SMS is a free text message service that connects people in New York City with community resources including food pantries, shelters, warming centers, clinics, and legal aid. Text us what you need and we reply with the nearest matching resource.
You will receive one reply per message you send. Silver SMS does not send unsolicited messages, recurring messages, or marketing. Message frequency depends entirely on your usage.
Message and data rates may apply. Silver does not charge for the service, but your carrier's standard messaging rates apply.
